Day 33 of 110: Quilting our American Heritage

(Originally Published Tuesday, March 18, 2014 – Blogger: One Daughter’s Point of View)

One the most unique art forms in our American Heritage is quilting. The DAR Museum in Washington D.C. has an outstanding collection of American quilts. These quilts tell this story of our country, and the families and communities involved in their making. It’s truly a patchwork of our history.

DAR Museum quilts are featured in an online quilt index. What an exciting way to enjoy this beautiful and historic art form.
