Mrs. W. O. Spencer was hostess of the March meeting of the Gen. Joseph Winston Chapter DAR. Mrs. E. B. James presided at the meeting which was opened with reading the ritual. The minutes of the Feb. meeting were read and treasurer’s report given. The name of Mrs. Julious Neely came before the Chapter for membership. A letter was read from Mrs. W. C. Tillett, Chairman of State Flag Code Committee.

Miss E. Maslin read letters from authorities in Washington D.C. in regard to DAR Americanization Work. Mrs. Spencer gave an interesting description of the American International College and Mrs. J. L. Ludlow read Mrs. Turney’s speech on Americanization which had been made before the Florida DAR Convention.

There being no other business the meeting adjourned and a delightful social hour was enjoyed, when the hostess served refreshments.
